005C COVID Spring 2026 UPTAKE
Searches
The COVID Spring 2026 UPTAKE searches are designed to support practices to identify vaccination uptake and claimable activity for Spring 2026. These searches include all COVID vaccination data for registered patients regardless of the provider and output reports will then show data such as organisation and GMS flag for practices to identify patients specifically vaccinated by the practice or PCN.
It is important to note that the CQRS business rules for COVID for Spring 2026 were NOT yet available when v1.0 of this folder was deployed in March 2026. Searches identifying claimable activity will be reviewed and updated once these business rules are available.
Once the CQRS business rules are published, the new CQRS searches will provide more accurate information on vaccinations claimable under those rules.
CVP-C20) COVID Vaccination in Spring 2026 Campaign
This search shows all currently registered patients who have been vaccinated during the COVID 2026 Spring campaign. It includes all providers but as with CVP-C01 the report output splits the information into GMS and not-GMS.
CVP-C21) Care Home Patients Vaccinated in Spring 2026 Campaign
This search shows all currently registered patients who are recorded as living in a care home and have been vaccinated during the COVID Spring 2026 campaign.
CVP-C22) Older Patients (75+) Vaccinated in Spring 2026 Campaign
This search shows all currently registered patients aged 75 and above or due to be 75 by 30th June 2026 who have been vaccinated during the COVID Spring 2026 campaign.
CVP-C24) 6m-74y immunosuppressed Vaccinated in Spring 2026 Campaign
This search shows all currently registered patients in the 6m-74y immunocompromised cohort who have been vaccinated during the COVID Spring 2026 campaign.
CVP-C28) Housebound Patients Vaccinated in Spring 2026 Campaign
This search shows all patients currently registered and coded as housebound who have been vaccinated during the COVID Spring 2026 campaign.
Coding
It should be noted that the relevant searches built by PCIT contain all codes and not just those which are specified to ensure that all patients are captured correctly in case the wrong code was used on a record.
