Adding the PCIT Toolbar

Adding PrimaryCare IT Toolbar 

Go to Users & Policy > Organisation Preferences.



Search for Toolbar.

Select the toolbar/s you wish to amend.

Click Amend Toolbar 

Click New Button Set

Find and add the following buttons – make sure you select the one for the current region i.e., QOF Template Toolbar Norfolk CCG – use the word Toolbar in the Available Buttons search box.

  • QOF Toolbar Template 

  • One Template Clinical Toolbar Template 

  • Acute Conditions Toolbar Template 

  • Administration One Toolbar Template 

  • One Calculator Toolbar Template 


Set the Button style to Small
Click on the required Toolbar then click + 

This will move the template to the right-hand side  

Repeat until all 4 toolbar templates have been moved. Click OK (if practice use more than one toolbar i.e., one for GPs, one for Admin, one for Nurses then Repeat for each toolbar).


Check Permission Settings 

Check that the Permissions are set to Restrict which users can customise their toolbars 




NB If practices allow all user or some staff to configure their own toolbars then the staff will not have access to the PCIT toolbar.
