Indicator definition
Indicator ID | Description |
CKD005 | The contractor establishes and maintains a register of patients aged 18 years or over with CKD with classification of categories G3a to G5 (previously stage 3 to 5). |
What do the business rules mean?
In order to be included in CKD005, patients must:
- be at least 18 years old
- have a diagnosis of CKD stage 3-5 (including GxAx variants)
- not have "Chronic kidney disease resolved" coded since the most recent CKD stage 3-5 code
- not have a CKD stage 1-2 diagnosis since the most recent the CKD 3-5 diagnosis
