New diabetic offer of SEP (HP214)

Purpose:
This protocol will:
  1. Highlight to clinicians where patients are newly diagnosed with diabetes and haven't been offered referral to a Structured Education Programme

What does it actually do?

The protocol performs the following functions:
  1. On starting the consultation it checks to see if the patient has been newly diagnosed with diabetes
  2. If they have been newly diagnosed but haven't been referred to a Structured Education Programme the user is alerted to the action required.
