Description

EP001

The contractor establishes and maintains a register of patients aged 18 or over receiving drug treatment for epilepsy.

What are the criteria for this indicator?

In order to be included in EP001, patients must:
  1. be at least 18 years old
  2. have a diagnosis of epilepsy
  3. not have "Epilepsy resolved" coded since the most recent epilepsy code
  4. have been issued epilepsy drug treatment in the last 6 months of the QOF year
