Actioning a Task on SystmOne - Base Resources

Actioning a Task on SystmOne to join the PCIT Organisation Groups - Base Resources

This guide will walk you through the steps of actioning an Organisation Group Membership Invitation task. Organisation groups are a way of sharing standardised content with a large group of practices. All PCIT customers with access to the base resources (i.e. not localised for your geographical area) will receive two Tasks to join the below groups:
  1. Primary Care IT - Reporting Group
  2. Primary Care IT - RG
As part of the onboarding process you will be sent Tasks within SystmOne to join these organisation groups. You will need to action these Tasks before you can access any PCIT resources.

To access the Tasks, go to Workflow >Task List on your SystmOne toolbar:

InfoNote: Most Organisation Group Membership Invitation tasks will arrive as an Unassigned Task. However, if your organisation has set up any task rules within Organisation Preferences, these Tasks may be sent to a single nominated user, or group / team within your practice. This guide will proceed as though the Task has been left unassigned.

On the left hand side of the screen select Unassigned Tasks. You will see a Task from Primary Care IT called Organisation Group Membership Invitation. The text will say that "Primary Care IT (NHS Norfolk and Waveney Icb - 26a)  has invited you to join the [group name] organisation group. Action this task to approve or delete the invite".

Right-click on the Task itself (displayed on the right of your screen) and select Action.

The Task will automatically mark itself as Completed and will display your name, the date & time and the text "Membership invitation accepted". All users within your practice system will now have access to all of the base PCIT resources. The resources will not display for users until they have completely logged out of SystmOne and logged back in again. Repeat these steps again for each Organisation Group Membership Invitation.

For access to localised resources, please click here for a step by step guide on how to join the relevant organisation group.
