- where a patient is housebound or
- has district nurse involvement.
What does it actually do?
Where a patient is coded as housebound, a protocol alert will be shown to highlight this in the alert box. It will also highlight if there is coded district nurse involvement with the patient. If the user double clicks on the alert, they are taken to a template where they can update the status. If your practice systematically records housebound status, this can help the reception team to quickly assess requests for home visits for appropriateness.
