Time Limited Cancer Care Review Needed (HP097)
- ensure that users are informed of the need for a patient to have:
- Provision of information of cancer support services available in Primary Care in the 3 months after diagnosis
- A cancer care review in the 12 months after diagnosis
What does it actually do?
- When a new diagnosis of cancer is added it checks to see if there has been provision of information about cancer support services available in Primary Care and a Cancer care review.
- If these have not been conducted the user is prompted that these need to occur
- A diary date for the appropriate time frames is added automatically to the record
- The user is then given options to either:
- Book an appointment
- Send a task
- Take no action
