Time Limited Cancer Care Review Needed (HP097)

Time Limited Cancer Care Review Needed (HP097)

Purpose:
This protocol will:
  1. ensure that users are informed of the need for a patient to have:
    1. Provision of information of cancer support services available in Primary Care in the 3 months after diagnosis
    2. A cancer care review in the 12 months after diagnosis

What does it actually do?

The protocol performs the following functions:
  1. When a new diagnosis of cancer is added it checks to see if there has been provision of information about cancer support services available in Primary Care and a Cancer care review.
  2. If these have not been conducted the user is prompted that these need to occur
  3. A diary date for the appropriate time frames is added automatically to the record
  4. The user is then given options to either:
    1. Book an appointment
    2. Send a task
    3. Take no action

What does it look like?
