Purpose:

This protocol will:
  1. in conjunction with the correct search (see below), allow you to bulk add CHA2DS2-VASc scores to patients' records that need it.

What does it actually do?

The protocol performs the following functions:
  1. When applied to a search, it will bulk code CHA2DS2-VASc scores to patients records

How do I use it?

To bulk code patients, you need to find the search “AF with no CHA2DS2-VASc”:


To bulk code, follow the steps:
  1. Click on “Batch add”
  2. Click on “Protocol”


This will bring up the following screen:


Take the following steps:
  1. Use the magnifying glass to locate and select the HP212 Bulk action CHA2DS2-VASc score adding tool
  2. Add a free text description (Bulk add score used in the above example)
  3. Select the “Search Population (Included) option
  4. Use the magnifying glass to open a search window and locate the search “AF with no CHA2DS2-VASc” within the Primary Care IT I 004 Contracts I 004B GP Contract Pro I a Early contract actions folder
  5. Then click ok

This will bulk add the code to the patients record.
