  1. make sure users convey the risks of Floroquinolone antibiotics to patients when prescribing.

What does it actually do?

The protocol performs the following functions:
  1. On selecting any floroquinolone drug the user is presented with a warning highlighting side effects and risks

System Dependencies:

Relies on you using the clinical system to record prescribing of medication

System Trigger

System Trigger: Select a drug
Run mode: Always run 
Drug group: Add 4-quinolones 
Enable trigger for: All clinical prescribers

Fitting your practice

Your team need to be aware of the side effect profile of these medications and that this alert has been set live in your system.
