Locating templates via "Add data" button or "Run template" buttons

Info
This article explains how to use alternative methods to using our F12 OneLaunchers when you know exactly what template you are looking for.

Aside from using the OneLauncher, users can use a couple of buttons to search for and find templates. These buttons are only available when in a patient record. Both methods contain the same number of clicks so it is down to personal preference. The steps to find these are:

Method 1: "Add data"

  1. Load a patient record
  2. Click "Add". Do not click the green plus, as this simply starts a new consultation.
    1. The following menu will appear. Click "Data using template"
  3. Search for the template you need. Partial search terms are accepted, for example, if you know the PCIT reference code (TM00202 in this example), or part of the template name, you can find this:
  4. Simply double-click the template you need, which will launch a consultation with it.

Method 2: "Run Template"

  1. Load a patient record
  2. Load a consultation by clicking the green plus button or similar
  3. Click "Run template" on the top ribbon
  4. Follow steps 3 and 4 from method 1.
