New asthmatic needs variability/reversibility testing (HP183)

New asthmatic needs variability/reversibility testing (HP183)

Purpose:
This protocol will:
  1. Ensure that patients have appropriate testing to achieve the AST006 indicator

What does it actually do?

The protocol performs the following functions:
  1. Any time an asthma diagnosis is entered it evaluates the record to see if this is the first entry of the diagnosis
  2. If it is, the tool checks to see if the patient has had the required tests for AST006
  3. If the patient hasn't, the user is alerted that this is the first diagnosis of Asthma and that the required tests haven't been recorded in the record - highlighting that this is a common data error and offering options for the user.

What does it look like?
