OneLauncher Suspected Cancer (PT00427)
Introduction
The OneLauncher Suspected Cancer brings together all clinical templates for suspected cancer into one place. These templates can easily be launched via the f12 protocol launcher or by using "Run Template".
These cancer specific templates allow relevant history to be recorded, prompting users to consider differential causes depending on the suspected cancer type. For example, the 2WW Lower GI template prompts users to consider if the patient is 40 years+ with unintentional clinically significant weight loss and abdominal pain or 50 years+ with unexplained rectal bleeding, etc. Regardless of age the Lower GI template will always prompt the clinician to consider rectal or anal masses, ulceration, abdominal mass or positive FIT tests.
How to use the OneLauncher Suspected Cancer
We suggest that users wishing to access these templates add the "
OneLauncher Suspected Cancer" directly to their F12 protocol launcher. To learn how to do this see our support article on
using the F12 protocol launcher. The templates can also be accessed via the familiar "OneLauncher Prescriber" via "More Templates".
Following use of the template, the launcher will prompt the generation of the suitable referral form or task someone else to action. Users can navigate to the
Referral Tree to access the needed form.
Prefer to use the templates during consultations via "Run template"? Please find the names of the templates below:
