Sometimes when searching for an item, Template Manager will crash. A proposed resolution is through careful selection of the search function.

Instead of pressing the top half of the spyglass to search, click the lower half and search for the specific type (Template, Protocol, or Mobile Template). The usual picker window will appear but it will only show templates/protocols of the relevant type as opposed to a mix. The chance of EMIS crashing when searching for a specific template type will be reduced.

This method will not need to be applied to all scenarios and may only work in certain sites or with certain templates/protocols.
