Using HRT Formulary Protocol
HRT Formulary Protocol
This protocol guides the user through the prescription of appropriate HRT for the patient being reviewed.
This protocol takes account of:
- Patients with hysterectomy
- Patients with mirena fitted
- Patients who are peri-menopausal
- Patients who are post-menopausal
- And guides options for HRT prescribing
To use the HRT Formulary:
1. Open the Menopause template
2. Click the HRT Prescribing button (bottom of right hand pane)
3. The protocol once launched will check the patients record then depending on what is found will bring back a message box
4. Select the appropriate answer.
5. The HRT Formulary Template will launch to the appropriate page depending on what you have previously selected.
