All QOF searches are found in the 004 GP Contract Pro folder

004A QOF Reporting

Searches in this folder gives you all searches for QOF reporting.  You get these earlier than the system suppliers provide you with them and are able to run them at your own convenience.  PCIT ensures these are correct throughout the contract year, dealing with data anomalies faster than you would otherwise achieve.

004B Routine QOF Work

Searches in this folder give you a smart operational way of running your QOF campaign.  This is supported by the lesson QOF for team members leading implementation which guides you though how to adopt this approach.

00C QOF VI

Searches in this folder give you a detailed way of managing your vaccination workload.


Protocols:

There are a series of protocols that automatically correct data entry and ensure QOF performance which are installed as standard in your system:

Time Limited Cancer Care Review Needed (HP097)

This protocol will ensure that users are informed of the need for a patient to have:
  1. Provision of information of cancer support services available in Primary Care in the 3 months after diagnosis
  2. A cancer care review in the 12 months after diagnosis

Care Plan launcher (HP155)

This protocol will offer a care plan to the user at the point of saving a consultation if they have coded a review during the consultation.

Action Chaser Salbutamol Adding to Register (HP182)

This protocol will offer a care plan to the user at the point of saving a consultation if they have coded a review during the consultation.

New asthmatic needs variability/reversibility testing (HP183)

This protocol will ensure that patients have appropriate testing to achieve the AST006 indicator.

New CHADS needs anticoag and not on (HP184)

This protocol will ensure that patients who have a CHA2DS2-Vasc score of 2 or more are offered anticoagulation to achieve the AF008 QOF target.

Time Limited New Heart Failure needs echo (HP185)

This protocol will identify patients who are newly diagnosed with heart failure and warn users if they haven't had an echocardiogram.

Auto offering of pulmonary rehabilitation (HP187)

This protocol will ensure that patients are offered pulmonary rehabilitation to achieve the COPD008 QOF target.

New Depression code checker (HP201)

This protocol will ensure the recording of new depression codes within EMIS is recorded in a way that satisfies QOF and doesn't duplicate existing diagnoses in the record.

CHA2DS2-VASc score adding tool (HP212)

This protocol will in conjunction with the correct search (see below), allow you to bulk add CHA2DS2-VASc scores to patients' records that need it.

Asthma review not fully completed (HP213)

This protocol will ensure that asthma reviews are fully completed on saving the patient record.

Consultation Opener New diabetic offer of SEP (HP214)

This protocol will highlight to clinicians where patients are newly diagnosed with diabetes and haven't been offered referral to a Structured Education Programme.

COPD review not fully completed (HP215)

This protocol will ensure that COPD reviews are fully completed on saving the patient record.

Heart failure review not fully completed (HP216)

This protocol will ensure that heart failure reviews are fully completed on saving the patient record.

Childhood Immunisation Schedule (HP217)

This protocol will provide the user with information about childhood vaccination status for children with a Protocol Alert.
