Room chart

Room chart

Workforce → Room chart answers a simple question at a glance: *who is in which room, when?*

Reading the chart

  • A monthly grid of every room, grouped by site.
  • Each cell is colour-coded by session type, with the assigned staff member's initials.
  • Clashes are highlighted in red — two rotas claiming the same room at the same time is immediately visible.

What it's for

  • Spotting under-used rooms — empty cells are capacity you're paying for.
  • Resolving room conflicts before they happen on the day.
  • Planning around estates work — see what a room closure would displace.

The chart is driven by the rota — to change an assignment, edit it in the Rota planner.
