Why can't I see a feature?

Nexus shows you only the features you can actually use. If a menu item or page someone else has is missing for you, it's almost always one of these:

1. Your organisation doesn't hold the package

Menus are driven by your organisation's packages. If your organisation doesn't hold, say, the monitoring package, the Monitoring menu simply doesn't appear — there's no locked or greyed-out version. To add a package, an admin can contact support@primarycareit.co.uk (current options are on the in-app /pricing page).

2. The feature doesn't match your clinical system

Build tools are per clinical system: Medicus Searches / Medicus Dashboards for Medicus sites, EMIS Templates for EMIS Web, TPP Templates for SystmOne. A package that doesn't apply to your system won't show.

3. It's admin-only

Some entries under Practice are only visible to organisation admins — Team members and Billing in particular. Check whether an admin sees it; if so, you may just need the admin role (or the task belongs with your admin).

4. Per-user or per-site access hasn't been granted

A few features have their own access lists on top of packages — for example FFT staff access is configured per site. If the practice holds the package but you personally see a "not enabled for you" message, ask your admin to add you.

5. It's data-gated

Some views appear only when the underlying data exists. My QOF data shows only once your clinical QOF data has been ingested from your Nexus (Medicus) clinical system. Items marked IM1 light up when multi-practice live data is connected.

6. You have a free NHS viewer account

Free NHS data access covers the benchmark dashboards only. If your practice is a paying customer, join its organisation account to get the full feature set — see Joining your organisation's existing account.

Still stuck?

Ask your organisation admin first (they can see your status in Practice → Team members), then contact support@primarycareit.co.uk.
