Dashboards → Local data → QOF — live shows every QOF indicator computed directly from your practice's own clinical data, refreshed daily after the overnight data feed. Unlike the benchmarking dashboards (public, published data), this view is calculated by Nexus itself from your patient records — which is what makes patient-level drill-down possible.

Because it contains clinical data, this dashboard is available only to users registered to your organisation.

Two readings of the same year

Some indicators (and some registers) are defined with a *medication window* — for example "an asthma drug issued in the last 12 months". In-year, that definition can be read two ways, and the dashboard shows both:

• Year to date (banked) — anchored to the contract year. This is what has actually banked for payment.
• Projected year end — the same rule with its drug windows rolled from today. This is the reading your clinical system shows in-year.

In both readings, patient ages are evaluated as at 31 March — the way QOF is assessed. A child who turns five in February is on the asthma register's workload today, and a patient who turns 80 before year end is measured against the over-80 blood-pressure target now.

The two figures converge on 31 March. Early in the year they can differ substantially; that is a property of the QOF definitions, not a discrepancy. Use the toggle at the top of the page to switch the points and income totals between the two readings.

Prioritisation panels

Two panels at the top rank the indicators by leverage: Most work to do (largest outstanding-patient worklists) and Most income at risk (points still on the table, priced at this year's point value). Click any row to open that indicator. Filter the table by clinical area or by status (achieved / partial / not achieved), and sort by any column — including Outstanding (patients not yet achieving) and At risk (income).

Each row shows achievement against its payment band (the two markers on the bar are the lower and upper thresholds), numerator/denominator, both readings, points earned, estimated income at this year's point value, and when the figure was last refreshed. Click an indicator code to open its detail view.

Indicator detail

The detail page adds:

• Trend — daily snapshots plotted against the payment band.
• Run live now — recompute the indicator this instant rather than waiting for tomorrow's snapshot.
• Outstanding patients — the denominator patients not yet achieving, with the success, exception and invitation codes they carried in previous years and the date each was last recorded. A patient who declined last year, or was invited twice last spring, is flagged so you can decide whether to add those codes again this year.

The action buttons on the patient list (re-add exception, invite, add code) are previews: recording back into your clinical system arrives with the Medicus write-back integration. Today they show you what the workflow will look like.

Patient-level views are read-restricted and every access is recorded in the clinical access audit.
