Monitoring → Monitoring packs is where your practice chooses *what* to monitor. Packs are professionally authored rule sets maintained on the platform — for example clinical defaults, QOF-aligned monitoring and CQC schemes — so you don't have to build or maintain the rules yourself.
How packs work
- Each pack lists its requirements (what's monitored and at what interval) and its version.
- Subscribe to a pack to activate its requirements for your practice; Unsubscribe to withdraw them. Changes take effect on the monitoring engine's next run.
- Only staff with manage permission can change subscriptions, and every change is audited (who and when).
- When a pack is updated centrally, you'll see the new version listed — your subscription follows the pack, so improvements arrive without rework.
Once subscribed, patients matching the pack's requirements start appearing on the Recall worklist.
Choosing packs
Start with the clinical defaults pack, then add the schemes that match your priorities (QOF, CQC). Subscribing to a pack you later decide against is easy to reverse — unsubscribing withdraws its requirements cleanly.
Engine status
The page shows when the monitoring engine last ran, so you can tell whether the worklist reflects today's data. A stale warning appears if it's been more than about a day.
