Tracking your team's onboarding
Once your team is invited, you can see who has actually found their feet — without asking around.
The Guide progress panel
On Practice → Team members, admins can expand the Guide progress panel. For each member it shows:
- whether they've completed the Getting started welcome tour
- how many in-app guides they've completed
- their last activity in Nexus
Use it in the first few weeks after rollout to spot colleagues who haven't signed in yet or skipped the walkthroughs — a quick nudge to replay a guide from the Guides (?) menu is usually all it takes.
Good onboarding practice
- Ask each new joiner to let the Getting started tour run on first sign-in (it's about two minutes).
- Point specialists at the guide for their tool — e.g. whoever builds searches should run Guides → Medicus Searches.
- Check Guide progress after a week and follow up with anyone showing no activity.
