Product Overview:
The PCIT Toolset is a comprehensive solution for GP surgeries in England, designed to streamline operations, optimise patient care, and enhance practice income. The PCN hub provides many of the features available in the PCIT toolset but adapted to work within hub settings. Because of the limitations of data sharing and differing configurations of PCN hubs some of the smartest tools which PCIT are renown for, including optimised data entry templates, smart protocols to automate actions, and alerts to highlight work that needs to be done don't work in the same way within a PCN hub and so the functionality is more fixed.

The PCIT EMIS Toolset comprises of the following resources:
The PCIT Toolset comprises of numerous templates which have been designed to assist users when completing certain tasks. The following provides an overview of each template and links out to individual support articles that go into more detail.
OneTemplate Hub
- The OneTemplate Hub is based on the OneTemplate NonPrescriber but with all the "smarts" removed so that every page and section is shown for users. Because hub settings are unable to test unique patient attributes this means users can choose which disease areas to review manually.
- The OneTemplate Acute [TM00017] template aids data entry for the commonest consultation types in Primary Care. It can be especially useful for trainees, allied health professionals or even established GPs who just want a structured and evidence based way of recording data.
- The OneCoding [TM00042] template is for use by clinical coders when receiving external communications from other agencies. It is designed to contain everything a clinical coding team would need to process letters, record relevant information for QOF and ensure that all information received from third parties is recorded accurately and with consistent coding.
- The OneTemplate Admin [TM00020] template is for use by admin team members to record all of the common things that are needed in that role. If there are things that as an admin team member you are regularly doing and want this building into the template, please submit a development request so we can add this in.
The OneTemplate Additional Roles [TM00015] template is based on the specification for the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) and it supports the clinician/user in following key clinical, technical and administrative responsibilities in delivering health services.
There are different pages on the template for all of the different Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme team members, as well as pages which cover all elements required for care planning.
Due to the vast number of resources that PCIT has created we have created several launchers to collate and assist navigation for users performing certain roles.
PCIT strongly recommends that users add the launcher/s that they will use to the Protocol Launcher which is easily accessible using the F12 button on your keyboard.
- The OneLauncher Hub is designed to assist Prescribers by collating resources which will assist them in hub settings.
